With the modernization of our country's industrial technology and the development of the refractory industry, in order to solve the fine-grained ferromagnetic substances, or remove the ferromagnetic minerals in the non-magnetic minerals, when the slurry flows into the magnetic field zone, the ferromagnetic minerals are adsorbed in the cylinder. The number of times that the magnetic particles magnetically roll over is much higher than that of a conventional magnetic separator. This has a significant effect on breaking up the magnetic reunion and increasing the enrichment ratio. The structure is simple and easy to operate and maintain, and the floor space is small. Industrial tests show that it meets the requirements of industrial production.

CTS, CTN, and CTB series magnetic separators are divided into two types: rotary type and fixed type. The fixed type is mainly applicable to ferromagnetic materials with weak magnetic field wet sorting fine particles, or strong magnetism in non-magnetic minerals. Minerals, minerals are brought out of the magnetic field with the rotation of the cylinder. Suitable for coarse or fine selection of ore with a particle size of 0.6-6mm. The same cylinder can be equipped with three kinds of tanks, that is, the size of the downstream flow channel (CTS) is ≤ 6mm, that of the CTN is ≤ 0.6mm, and the size of the semi-counterflow cell (CTB) is ≤ 1mm.


With the advancement of the longevity technology of blast furnaces in China's iron and steel industry during the "10th Five-Year Plan" period, efforts have been made to develop high-efficiency continuous casting and out-of-furnace treatment technologies, raising ever-increasing demands on China's refractory materials.
