The correct method of dry magnetic separator installation
In front of you, we talked about the use of dry magnetic separators, the principle of dry magnetic separators, and the performance of dry magnetic separators. How about the proper installation of dry magnetic separators? In fact, most of the users do not need to know this issue, as long as they are in the regular dry magnetic separator manufacturers will generally provide installation services. However, in order to save energy investment costs to install or supervise the installation of dry magnetic separators on their own, you can understand the following.
1. Equipment acceptance before installation of dry magnetic separator
The cartridge type magnetic separator installation cylinder type magnetic separator is divided into two kinds of single cylinder and double cylinder. Single cylinder magnetic separator is composed of driving device, rotating drum and tank body (Figure 1). Binary magnetic separator consists of electric vibrating feeder, rotary drum, material brush, sub-hopper, sub-miner, rack and driving device. The installation method of the various cartridge magnetic separators is the same. Lifting equipment should be carried out before the acceptance, dismantling cleaning and adjustment [the first mining machinery 100 = Branch - Network], the adjustment includes the drive part of the gear meshing, bearing clearance, rotary drum and tank relative position. Installation generally uses integral lifting. The installation accuracy requirements are: the centerline limit deviation of the equipment is ±3mm, and the limit deviation of the elevation is ±5mm; for the magnetic separator installed in rows, the centerline straightness tolerance is 3mm, and the relative elevation difference is not more than 3mm.
2, Rotary cage type magnetic separator installation
The cage type magnetic separator consists of a base, a lower magnetic system, a rotating cage, an upper magnetic system, a hollow shaft, a concentrate tank, and a transmission device. The mounting base measures the elevation and leveling of the hollow shaft holder. The positioning of the lower magnetic system is based on the base. The clearance adjustment between the cage and the upper and lower magnetic systems must be accurate. The clearance limit deviation is 0+1mm.
3, cylinder magnetic separator installation
Cartridge type magnetic separator is divided into two types: single cylinder and double cylinder. Single cylinder magnetic separator is composed of driving device, rotating drum and tank body (Figure 1). Double-barrel magnetic separator consists of electric vibrating feeder, rotary drum, material brush, sub-hopper, sub-miner, rack and driving device. The installation method of the various cartridge magnetic separators is the same. The equipment acceptance, disassembly cleaning and adjustment shall be carried out before hoisting. The adjustment includes gear meshing of the drive section, bearing clearance, and relative positions of the drum and the tank body. Installation generally uses integral lifting. The installation accuracy requirements are: the centerline limit deviation of the equipment is ±3mm, and the limit deviation of the elevation is ±5mm; for the magnetic separator installed in rows, the centerline straightness tolerance is 3mm, and the relative elevation difference is not more than 3mm.
4, ring magnetic separator installation
The ring type magnetic separator is composed of a transmission device, a bottom beam, an upper beam, a pole head, a turntable, a vertical shaft, and an excitation coil. The excitation coil voltage test should be done before installation. The installation sequence is: bottom beam - pole head - vertical shaft and turntable - upper crossbeam - transmission. The installation focus is to adjust the verticality of the vertical shaft, the level of the turntable, and the air gap between the turntable and the two heads. The axes of the turntable and the arc surfaces of the two heads should coincide.
5, dry type magnetic separator installed after the test machine
Before the test run of the magnetic separator, the tank should be tested for leaks and the parts of the equipment should be rinsed clean with clean water. The ring-type magnetic separator is connected to the excitation power supply after the chilled water is idling for 1 hour, and the current is gradually adjusted to the rated value. The no-load test run time of the cylinder type magnetic separator and the oscillating type magnetic separator is 2 hours, and the load test run is 4 hours. The ringless magnetic separator has a no-load test run time of 4 hours and a load test run of 24 hours. In the load test run, the mine must be given after the equipment is operating properly.
