Suction Calculation.png

       In general, NdFeB magnet can absorb 600 times of its own weight. The higher the brand is, the greater the suction is. For example, the same size magnet, N48 is much more attractive than N35. The attraction of NdFeB magnet is related to its volume, performance grade and distance.

distance

         This refers to the distance between the magnet and the object being adsorbed, the greater the distance is , the smaller the suction is.  NdFeB magnet has many specifications, including holes and irregular shapes. These are directly related to suction, and the calculation is more complicated. And different distances also have different suction. Different materials of different materials also have different suction.

Suction calculation

 The formula of suction for common NdFeB magnets: weight *600 times = suction (PS: weight = volume * density)

Suction formula for circular NdFeB magnet: Volume * density *600 times = suction

Example:  20mm*5mm N35 NdFeB magnet

                 Suction = (10 radius *10 radius *3.14*5 thickness) volume *0.0075 density *600 times =7065g (g)

 That is to say, the N35 magnet of 20*5 can absorb 7.065 kilograms of objects.

Suction formula of square NdFeB magnet: Volume * density *600 times = suction

Example: 20mm*10mm*5mm N35 NdFeB magnet

                Suction = (20 Length * 10 Width * 5 Thickness) * 0.0075 Density * 600 = 4500g

That is to say, the N35 magnet of 20*10*5 can absorb 4.5 kilograms of objects.

        If your magnet specifications are two kinds of specifications can be directly calculated by formula, it should be noted that the size unit is mm (mm), if it is centimeters need to be converted.
