Other industries: magnetized anti-wax device, pipeline descaler, magnetic fixture, automatic mahjong machine, magnetic lock, door and window magnet, stationery magnet, luggage magnet, leather magnet, toy magnet, tool magnet, craft gift packaging, etc.

The third generation rare earth permanent magnet NdFeB is the most powerful permanent magnet in contemporary magnets. Its BHmax value is 5-12 times that of ferrite magnets and 3-10 times that of aluminum nickel cobalt magnets; its coercive force is equivalent to 5-10 times that of ferrite magnets and 5 times that of aluminum nickel cobalt magnets 15 times, its potential magnetic performance is extremely high, and it can absorb 640 times its own weight.

Since the main raw material iron of neodymium iron boron magnets is very cheap, the storage volume of rare earth neodymium is 10-16 times more than that of samarium, so its price is much lower than that of samarium cobalt magnets.

The mechanical properties of NdFeB magnets are better than those of SmCo and AlNiCo magnets, making it easier to cut and drill holes and process complex shapes.

The disadvantage of NdFeB magnets is their poor temperature performance, high magnetic losses at high temperatures, and lower maximum operating temperatures. Generally, it is about 80 degrees Celsius, and the maximum working temperature of the magnet after special treatment can reach 200 degrees Celsius.

Because the material contains a large amount of neodymium and iron, it is also a major weakness of its easy corrosion. Therefore, NdFeB magnets must be surface-coated. Electroplating nickel (Ni), zinc (Zn), gold (Au), chromium (Cr), epoxy (Epoxy), etc.

NdFeB magnets are widely used in aerospace, electronics, electromechanical, instrumentation, medical and other fields. Moreover, non-technical fields are more and more widely used, such as attracting magnets, toys, jewelry, etc.
