Abstract : The permanent magnet separator is a magnetic source composed of a rare earth magnetic material with high coercivity and high remanence, neodymium iron boron and ferrite to form a strong magnetic field, which is used to absorb ferromagnetic impurities. The whole machine is not powered. No energy consumption. Permanent magnet iron remover can be divided into automatic unloading iron, manual unloading iron, manual unloading iron and so on. The specific iron removal method of permanent magnet separator is as follows:

(1) Belt type permanent magnetic separator. The belt type permanent magnetic separator has the characteristics of automatic iron unloading, constant magnetic field, no change of cold and hot state, few failure points, and application under 1200 mm bandwidth is more common. Since the current development of magnetic shielding technology does not pass, it has brought a lot of trouble to manufacturing, transportation, installation, operation and maintenance. For example, a large piece of iron is sucked on a magnetic box and there is a problem that it may not be thrown away and the belt may be burnt to the motor. At the same time, it is difficult to remove, and may cause damage to the magnetic block, so it is subject to certain restrictions on large-scale applications.


(2) Artificial iron-unloading permanent magnet separator. In all the iron separators, it is simple, the price is low, the space occupied is small, and the manufacturing installation and maintenance are convenient. According to the configuration can be roughly divided into two types, namely, fixed suspension and bottom fixed. Suspended fixed plate remover is suitable for mounting on the tape conveyor belt, while the bottom fixed plate remover is suitable for mounting under the lower hopper or chute. This type of iron removal equipment is suitable for smaller and less iron-containing impurities, and the transport material thickness is less than 100 mm. When the device is in operation, iron inclusions are directly attracted to the magnetic plate, and regular manual unloading is required, which is laborious.


(3) Manual permanent magnet remover. The manual type permanent magnetic separator removes iron by using a handle to scrape the iron outside the magnetic field using a scraper, but generally it cannot be used in applications with large iron pieces.


Separators are widely used in metallurgy, mining, coal preparation plants, power plants, ceramics, glass, cement, building materials, chemical, food, and feed processing industries. In the emerging waste processing industry, steel is also needed to remove scrap from iron separators. Especially in the coal and ceramic industries, detonators, nails, and other iron impurities mixed in coal not only affect safety production, but also affect the quality and reputation of export coal; limestone, silica, dolomite, feldspar, etc. used in the production of ceramics industry Raw materials often contain iron and iron compounds more or less. Iron is a great hazard to ceramic products. It often causes brown or black spots on the outer surface of porcelain, which affects the whiteness of products and reduces the grade of ceramic products. Therefore, it is very important to use iron remover to remove iron.
